FIVE men are set to stand trial after police unearthed a large amount of cannabis plants off Fifth Avenue in Harlow.
The men charged are:
Festim Diva, aged 33, of St Peters Road, Dudley, West Midlands.
Edison Diva, aged 35, No Fixed Abode
Riland Hoxha, aged 31, No Fixed Abode
Xen Posli, aged 30, No Fixed Abode
Oitjan Tahiri, aged 28, No Fixed Abode
The charges are:
On 06/11/2019 at Harlow were concerned in the production of 80 plants of cannabis, a controlled drug of class B by another in contravention of section 4(1) of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971
Festim Diva has also been charged with: On 06/11/2019 at Harlow had with you, without good reason or lawful authority, in a public place Newstead Way an article which had a blade or was sharply pointed, namely a fixed bladed knife.
Their next court date is December 12th at Chelmsford Crown Court.
All five men have been remanded in custody.
Pleas of not guilty have been submitted.
