ESSEX Police are trying to locate stolen coins of sentimental value after they were taken from an address in Nazeing.
A woman reported that the coins were taken from a property in Middle Street between 12pm and 2.30pm on Wednesday 27 November.
They included newly minted UK coins for the last 60 years, the entire Beatrix Potter silver and gold coin collection and PYX limited edition coins including gold sovereigns.
The victim, who wished not to be named, said: “The coins were collected by my mother-in-law and my son, who both sadly passed away within two months of each other. They are of huge sentimental value and some go back over 60 years.
“There were hundreds of coins in the collection and I would really love to get them back.”
We would like to hear from anyone with information about these coins.
