A HARLOW teenager has been disqualified from driving and fined hundreds of pounds for riding a motorbike in the town centre.
The seventeen-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons pled guilty to the following at Chelmsford magistrates court.
He was fined £250 and disqualified until he had passed his test.
1. On 28/12/2016 at Harlow drove a motor vehicle, namely A BLACK PITBIKE, not displaying any index on a road, namely Terminus Street otherwise than in accordance with a licence authorising you to drive a motor vehicle of that class.
2. On 28/12/2016 the defendant drove A BLACK PITBIKE, Not displaying any index on Terminus Street otherwise than in accordance with a licence for that class of motor vehicle in that in doesn’t currently have a provisional licence.
3. On 28/12/2016 at Harlow used a motor vehicle, namely BLACK PITBIKE, Not displaying an index, on a road, or other public place, namely Terminus Street, when there was not in force in relation to that use such a policy of insurance or such a security in respect of third party risks as complied with the requirements of Part VI of the Road Traffic Act 1988
4. On 28/12/2016 at Harlow drove a motor bicycle, namely BLACK PITBIKE, with no index displayed, on a road, namely Terminus street, without wearing protective headgear
5. On 28/12/2016 at Harlow drove a motor bicycle, namely BLACK PITBIKE, with no index displayed, carrying more than one other person.
6. At 20:00 on 28/12/2016 the defendant drove BLACK PITBIKE, with no index displayed on Terminus Street when one person was being carried as a passenger.
7. On 28/12/2016 at Harlow used on a road, namely Terminus Street, a vehicle, namely BLACK PITBIKE, no index displayed, which was not fitted with Headlamp, Dipped beam headlamp,Rear position lamp, Stop lamp of a type specified in regulation 18(1) of the Road Vehicles Lighting Regulations 1989.
8. On 28/12/2016 at Harlow, drove a vehicle, namely A BLACK PITBIKE, on a road, namely Terminus Street, when the registration mark assigned to the vehicle by the Secretary of State under section 23(1) of the Vehicle Excise and Registration Act 1994 was not fixed to the rear of the
