A HARLOW man is set to stand trial over an alleged sexual assault and harassment.
Shorne Boylan, aged 48, of Hare Street Springs, Harlow has been charged with the following.
Between 10/07/2020 and 10/07/2020 at Harlow intentionally touched a woman aged 16 or over and that touching was sexual when she did not consent and you did not reasonably believe that she was consenting.
On 10/07/2020 at Harlow, with intent to cause a woman harassment, alarm or distress, used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour, thereby causing that person or another harassment, alarm or distress.
Between 10/07/2020 and 10/07/2020 at Harlow with intent to cause a woman harassment, alarm or distress used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour thereby causing that or another person harassment, alarm or distress and the offence was racially aggravated within the terms of section 28 of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998.
On 11/07/2020 at Harlow used threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress.
On 10/07/2020 at Harlow, with intent to cause another harassment, alarm or distress, used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour, thereby causing that person or another harassment, alarm or distress.
Boylan has pleaded not guilty.
He has been sent for trial to Chelmsford Crown Court on August 10th.
He has been released on conditional bail.
