A MAN is due to appear at court following the death of an elderly bus user in Harlow last year.
Christopher Balding, 36, of Quarry Spring, Harlow, is due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 5 August to answer counts of causing death by careless driving and causing death by dangerous driving.
It follows reports that a man was taken to hospital after falling from a bus in Howard Way at around 10.50pm on Friday 3 May 2019.
Sadly, John Childs, 73, from Harlow, died from his injuries in hospital on Sunday 12 May 2019.
The Serious Collision Investigations Unit (SCIU) investigated before voluntarily interviewing the bus driver in connection with our investigation.
