A JUST GIVING page has been set up to help a man stabbed and robbed in Harlow Town Park.

It was reported he was approached by two men in Harlow Town Park at around 5.20pm on Wednesday 5 August who asked him for a cigarette.

As he tried to oblige, he was punched to the face and stabbed to his side before his backpack was taken.

Fortunately the man, who’s in his 30s, was not seriously injured and sustained small cuts to his stomach.

The Justgiving page details that he had £1500 in his backpack.

Th pages organiser, Vicky O’Neill said: “Tony works for my partner. He works incredibly hard, grafting daily and has been saving up to move to France with his girlfriend and start a lovely new life.

“As you can imagine, this has been awful for him and so many of the wonderful people in Harlow have asked me to set this up so that we can try to ease a very hard blow for Tony”.
