
A HARLOW resident has been jailed after being found driving close to five times over the legal limit.
Paweł Arcisz, aged 40, of Brockles Mead, Harlow pleaded guilty to the following at Chelmsford Magistrates court.
On 02/10/2020 at Harlow drove a motor vehicle, white Ford Transit on a road, Southern Way, after having consumed so much alcohol that that the proportion of it in your breath, namely 162 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, exceeded the prescribed limit.
He was jailed for three months. He was banned from driving for five years.
The court judgement stated: “The offence is so serious that
only a immediate custodial sentence can be justified.
The reading was extraordinarily high, over and above maximum guidelines, aggravated by the commercial vehicle that was being driven with two passengers.
“The court also took into account previous history of committing like offences.
“The bench do not consider there is a realistic prospect of rehabilitation”.
