A HARLOW man has been fined over £300 for being in possession of a hunting knife at a pub.
Darius-Gheorghe Martinescu-Cimpian, aged 18, of Orchard Croft, Harlow pled guilty to the following.
On 14/10/2017 at Harlow had with you, without good reason or lawful authority, in a public place, Eastgate, Harlow a six inch hunting knife.
On 05/12/2017 at Chelmsford failed without reasonable cause to surrender to custody at Chelmsford Magistrates Magistrates’ Court, having been released on bail in criminal proceedings on 15/10/2017 at Harlow police station.
He was found to be carrying a knife following checks by door staff at The Clockhouse, in East Gate, at around 10.30pm (Saturday, October 14).
He was fined £330.00 and will have to do 200 hours of unpaid community work.
