Police investigation after cyclist kicked in the head near Staple Tye

ESSEX Police are appealing for information after a man was attacked by three men while cycling in Harlow.

A man was riding his bike along Pinceybrook Road at around 11pm on Wednesday, May 23, when a silver car pulled up alongside him and three men got out.

The men then threatened the victim before punching him, knocking him to the ground. The cyclist was then kicked in the head.

The suspects drove off and the victim, aged in his 20s, cycled home with swelling to his face, throat and head and bruising.

The first man is described as a white, in his late teens, of an average build, with short blond hair, 5ft 7ins and wore a white short sleeve shirt and light coloured tracksuit bottoms.

The second man is described as a white, late teens, short brown hair, 5ft 10ins and of a slim build. He wore a long sleeved t-shirt with black arms and a white body, jeans and trainers.

The third man is described as a white, aged in his late teens, around 6ft, of slim build and wore dark clothing and dark hoodie.
