DETECTIVES are asking members of the public to come forward if they witnessed an assault in Old Harlow.
The fight took place between Market Street and the Seeleys between 9.45pm and 9.50pm last night, Friday, June 29.
The victim saw a fight taking place between a group of men in the street outside the Marquis of Granby on Market Street, at around 9.45pm.
One of the men who had originally been fighting then ran at the victim. As the victim moved away, a number of men, believed to have been involved in the original disturbance, followed him and assaulted him. We believe that the men then left the scene in a car.
The victim was taken to hospital with injuries to his face and hands.
