ESSEX Police visited Harlow College on Wednesday and installed their knife arch.
We must stress that this was not because of any knife crime problem at Harlow College but as part of a countrywide police awareness week regarding knife crime.
A police spokesperson said: “Really successful knife arch operation with lots of positive comments from staff and students, raising awareness around the dangers of carrying knives. Thank you Harlow College for hosting us!
