A DRUG dealer found hiding class A drugs between his buttocks has been sentenced to six years’ detention in a young offender institution.
Matas Dubauskas of Ambassador Gardens, London was arrested after he was stopped and searched by officers from Operation Raptor, a team created to detect and disrupt gangs who travel to Essex to drugs and cause violence.
The 18-year-old was stopped in The Fortunes, Harlow at around 1pm on May 20, 2016 and taken to custody to be searched.
He was found to be concealing a small package containing crack cocaine and heroin with an estimated street value of around £1000.
Dubauskas was charged with possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and possession with intent to supply heroin.
He was also charged with another offence of possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and one of dangerous driving by the Metropolitan Police Service .
Dubausakas was sentenced to a total of six years’ detention in a young offender institution for the Metropolitan Police offences at Snaresbrook Crown Court on September 30, 2016.
He pleaded guilty to the Essex offences and was sentenced at Chelmsford Crown Court on the same day.
Dubauskas was sentenced to three years’ detention in a young offender institution for each offence to run concurrently to the sentence imposed at Snaresbrook Crown Court.
