Statement from British Transport Police: ‘Officers were called to Harlow station at 04.15am this morning (15/01) following reports of a break in.
‘Colleagues from Essex Police also attended and a 24-year-old man and a 31-year old man were arrested on suspicion of burglary.
‘They remain in custody while enquiries continue.’
HARLOW railway station ticket office was closed for a number of hours on Tuesday morning due to reported break-in.
A Greater Anglia spokesperson said this morning: “Harlow Town ticket office is shut due to emergency services dealing with an incident.
Please expect queues for the ticket machines.”
A police van was parked at the entrance and police tape covered part of the front of the entrance.
