Harlow cops investigate serious assault at Clock Hour pub in town centre

DETECTIVES, investigating an assault which left a man requiring surgery, are appealing for witnesses to the incident to come forward.

The incident happened at the Clock House Pub in East Gate, Harlow at just before 1am on Saturday October 22.

The victim, a 36-year-old man from Harlow, was punched in the face, knocking him unconscious and causing him to fall to the floor. He suffered a fractured eye socket and cheek and has had to undergo surgery for his injuries.

Detectives investigating the assault are now appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

Investigating officer Dc Donna Money of Harlow CID said: “This incident happened in a pub on a busy Saturday night so we would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident and can help us catch those responsible.

“The victim suffered serious facial injuries for which he has had to undergo surgery and we are determined to bring those responsible to justice.”
