IT has been another busy year for Harlow’s Voluntary Police Cadets. It is only when you watch the video below, do you appreciate the work they undertake.
They meet on a Wednesday at St Mark’s school but that is just a small part of what they do.
There doesn’t seen to be an event in town that doesn’t have members of Harlow’s police cadets there. From Community Embrace in Staple Tye, the annual remembrance service to the Harlow Carnival.
They are under the guidance of dedicated members of the police service who are giving them valuable advice and experience.
We would in particular like to congratulate cadets leader PC Rob Hance, Jennifer Shearman-Bright. PCSO Peter Kearney and Harry Beavis.
Look forward to seeing them as an integral part of the Harlow community in 2020.
Here’s what #harlowvpc have gotten upto in 2019! It’s been a great year for the unit and I am looking forward to next year. Over 1466 hours volunteered in our unit which is incredible along with 24 community events attended. @EssexPoliceUK @yourharlow pic.twitter.com/857J8j6pYI
