Man charged with ammonia attack at Poplar Kitten pub

A MAN has been charged with attacking two people with ammonia in a Harlow pub, five years ago.

Edward Connors, aged 33, of West View, Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire, has been charged with the following.

On September 5th, 2015, at Poplar Kitten Public House, Tawneys Road, Harlow unlawfully and maliciously administered to another a poison or other destructive or noxious thing, namely ammonia, so as thereby to endanger the life of or inflict grievous bodily harm on the said person.

On September 5th, 2015 at Poplar Kitten Public House used or threatened unlawful violence towards another and your conduct was such as would cause a person of reasonable firmness present at the scene to fear for their personal safety.

The case has been adjourned until August 26th, 2020 at Colchester Magistrates Court.
