Old Harlow woman charged with racially motivated assault and abuse

A HARLOW woman has been charged with a number of offences including racially motivated assault and abuse.

Stevie Jade Ballard, aged 34, of The Oxleys, Harlow has been charged with the following:

On 16/02/2020 at Harlow used threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress, thereby, and the offence was racially aggravated within the terms of section 28 of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998.


On 16/02/2020 at Harlow the defendant used threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress, thereby, and the offence was racially aggravated within the terms of section 28 of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998.

On 16/02/2020 at Harlow assaulted another by beating and the offence was racially aggravated within the terms of section 28 of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998.

On 16/02/2020 at Harlow used threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress, thereby, and the offence was racially aggravated within the terms of section 28 of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998.

On 16/02/2020 at Harlow assaulted another by beating and the offence was racially aggravated within the terms of section 28 of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998.

On 16/02/2020 at Harlow assaulted another by beating and the offence was racially aggravated within the terms of section 28 of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998.

On 16/02/2020 at Harlow assaulted a male by beating him.

On 16/02/2020 at Harlow assaulted a woman by beating her.

On 16/02/2020 at Harlow assaulted a woman by beating her.

On 16/02/2020 at Harlow assaulted another by beating him

On 16/02/2020 at Harlow without lawful excuse, damaged White Nissan Xtrail to the value of unknown belonging to another intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged

On 16/02/2020 in Harlow assaulted another by beating and the offence was racially aggravated within the terms of section 28 of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998.

The case has been adjourned to January 11th at Chelmsford Magistrates Court.
