A TEENAGER is set to stand trial over an allegation that he maliciously wounded another.
The seventeen-year-old, who cannot named for legal reasons, was charged with the following.
On 24/11/2018 at Harlow, unlawfully and maliciously wounded another with intent to do him grievous bodily harm
On 24/11/2018 at Harlow had with you an article, namely a large knife, applied in a public place, namely Market Square, and unlawfully and intentionally threatened another person, with that article in such a way that there was an immediate risk of serious physical harm to that person
On 24/11/2018 at Harlow in the county of Essex used or threatened unlawful violence when present together with others being three or more persons in total who used or threatened unlawful violence and the conduct taken together was such as would cause a person of reasonable firmness present at the scene to fear for his or her personal safety.
A trial date of January 3rd at Chelmsford magistrates court has been set.
The youth has been remanded in custody.
