TWO more drivers have been convicted following the summer #DriveSafeDriveSober anti-drink and drug driving campaign.
A total of 205 people were arrested during the campaign which highlighted how alcohol and drugs can impair your reactions when driving.
The consequences of this can be fatal.
The drivers convicted are:
Nathan Lycett, 21, of Willowfield, Harlow:
– Arrested at 1.17am on June 21 in Charlton Way, Hoddesdon;
– Disqualified for 12 months, fined £332, £85 costs, £33 victim surcharge for drug driving.
Daniel Brooks, 29, of Sawkins Avenue, Chelmsford:
– Arrested at 7.39pm on July 7 in Rosebury Avenue, Billericay;
– Disqualified for 12 months, £450 fine, £85 costs, £45 victim surcharge for drink and drug driving.
